Helping family law services to focus on children
Regular meetings, electronic news bulletins and planned education events and forums help Barwon South West Family Law Pathways Network member organisations and their staff to make more effective and streamlined referrals throughout the region and to better understand the range of other services available to their clients. There is also opportunity for members to create innovative or best-practice partnerships, and to provide policy advice to the Attorney-General's Department. Network members come from key organisations that provide services for separating families, including a variety of family support providers, legal practitioners specialising in family law, representatives from Family Law Registries, the Child Support Agency, and other service providers that support the family law system without being a part of it, such as drug and alcohol, mental health and domestic violence practitioners. For more information visit the government website.
