Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children Community Connections is a Child Safe organisation. This means that we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children who come into contact with our staff or our premises. Our commitment to prioritise the safety of children over all else will not be compromised. We adhere to all legislative requirements and all of the organisation's practices and policies are guided by: - United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child - Victorian Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Community Connections also has its own set of policies and practices which are regularly reviewed with input from staff, clients and industry experts. All staff and volunteers at Community Connections are required to undergo police-checks and Working With Children checks. This is regardless of the programs they work in, and applies even if there is no direct contact with childrern.
